WHAT DOES THE HOURLY RATE INCLUDE FOR FISHING CHARTERS?
Our Fishing Charters are fully inclusive and include the following:
Fishing License
USCGA Licensed Captain
Fishing gear and poles
Bait
Ice
Cleaning and bagging of your fish
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN WE BRING ON THE FISHING CHARTER?
We have a license for up to 6 people to fish.
CAN WE EXTEND OUR FISHING CHARTER WHILE OUT THERE?
Yes, if we have availability! Let your captain know before you come back to the dock.
WHO CAN GO ON A FISHING CHARTER?
We encourage everyone to go fishing! We will always try to make your experience fun and unforgettable. Please let us know in advance if special accommodations are needed.
If you are bringing children under seven, make sure you bring a life jacket that fits, which must be worn while the boat is underway.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME FOR ALL CHARTERS?
You are responsible for providing your own food and drink (no glass bottles) along with anything else you might want, including hats, sunscreen lotion (non-aerosol), phone/camera, etc. You might want to bring a jacket or rain slicker depending on the weather.
ARE TIPS INCLUDED?
No, tips are not included in upfront payment on any of the charters. If you are satisfied with your charter, it is the industry norm to show your appreciation by tipping your first mate (we suggest a 15-20% tip). The Captain and first mate work hard to make a fun and memorable charter. So if you are pleased and wish to give more, it is genuinely appreciated.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY FISHING TRIP?
Deposit Fees: A 20% deposit is required when booking is confirmed by Captain Karl. Fish-N-Fun Destin charters have several ways to pay: CASH, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover and debit cards as well as PayPal, Zelle and Venmo. If a credit card is used we will charge a 3.5% fee.
Remaining Payment: The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter Captain on the day of the trip or before your trip date by any method described in the deposit section plus cash.
Cancellation Fees: Customers can cancel or modify their booking up to 3 days before the trip date free of charge. If the trip is canceled or modified later, or in an event of a no show, 100% of the deposit will be charged. After this, you may only cancel free of charge in the event of unsafe weather conditions, Captain-related issues, or extenuating circumstances.
